Italian / Polished Plasters
The origins of polished plaster finishes date back to early Venetian times. As marble would add significant weight to the structure of the buildings. whose foundations were timeber piles, craftsmen developed a method of colouring and polishing a lime and marble putty, in order to achieve a marble like finish.

Apart from the traditional materials of lime and marble, there is a totaly new range of finishes that are waterproof and can be used in bathrooms and wet rooms. Also available is a metalic finish and exterior finish that achieves the same classic appearance.
